Hi,

today I will show you how you can set work date in NAV 2013.

You can choose two way how to set up date (Picture 1):

  1. Click on the ribbon bar NAV button and on application menu click Set Work Date…  (black circle)
  2. On the status bar click on date (red circle)

Whichever way you choose you will get small window like this on picture 2.

Picture 2

On the Work Date: you can easily choose date which will be set to work date by clicking on the down arrow on the drop down menu and then you will get calendar.  (Picture 3).

Picture 3

Also you can type some characters that will set work that depends what each character means.

If you type in Work Date: character “m” (without quotes) NAV will set work date to the last Monday in the current week.

Other abbreviations for days in week are the following:

  • tu – Tuesday
  • we – Wednesday
  • th – Thursday
  • f – Friday
  • s- Saturday
  • su – Sunday

Except week abbreviations you can use other abbreviations to easily set today date (t), work date (w) and closing date (c).

Cheers,

Renato.
